The Secret Life of Mr. White

There are many teachers in the world with secret lives. Many of their lives probably include going to the gym and partying, but not Mr. White.
Mr. White’s secret life started over the summer when the Redskins held tryouts for a new quarterback. One day Mr. White was driving home from work and saw a big sign with a picture of the Redskins old quarterback, Mark Brunel, with directions that stated: go to miles straight and make a left towards the stadium. Mr. White proceeded to the stadium, went in and saw that there was try outs for a new quarter back. Mr. White immediately changed clothes and began trying to impress the coaches. At first he was very nervous and started goofing up. But as time progressed he started to do better. He started throwing good passes and avoided getting sacked. After about four hours when the tryouts ended Mr. White drove home a tiredly stumbled into his house and collapsed onto his brand new couch. Then Mr. White’s wife ran over and nosily asked him why he was so exhausted. In order for Mr. White to keep his secret life a secret he told her, “I just had a hard day and was really tired.” Then Mr. White passed out. The next day Mr. White waited all day for the Redskins coach to call and give him any kind of news so he could stop racking his brain. Every day for about two weeks he continued this antagonizing routine. On the fourteenth day when Mr. White gave up the head coach called and gave him fantastic news, he made the team and he wanted Mr. White to meet him and the team at the stadium on Saturday at noon. Mr. White immediately jumped up excitedly and started to dance with his wife. She then asked puzzled why he was so happy. Mr. White froze and his heart sank for he thought that his wife would fin out about his secret life and that she would not approve. But she then answered her own question and said, “Oh you got the promotion, yes!” Then Mr. White laughed and said; “Yes, I got the promotion.”
When Saturday finally arrived, Mr. White rushed over to the stadium hoping that he would be on time because traffic was so bad. But Mr. White was there just in time to start practicing with the rest of the team. Mr. White soon found out that foot ball was not an s easy or as fun as it once looked to him. But he didn’t give up for he loved the game to much. Furthermore all of his teammates quickly decide that it would be wise to please him considering he was the captain of the team. Which in turn not only helped the moral of the team but it also lead them to win their first game and eventually win the super bowl. But the first game was not easy. At first Mr. White threw two interceptions and got sacked once, but once he loosened up he was fine. His stats at the end of the year were 1000 yards passing and 50 rushing yards. Obviously Mr. White’s wife found out about his secret life and so did the rest of the world because he was the rookie of the year. At the end of the season Mr. White took a break from the NFL focused on work and retired from teaching in 8 months and became a full time quarterback for the Redskins.

The End.
